In a recent report issued by Pew Research Center, they revealed that almost every home in the USA had at least one gadget – with the most popular one being a cell phone.

According to an article on HealthNewsDigest.com, it is estimated that approximately 6,000 people are killed and 500,000 are injured each year because someone involved was texting, emailing, checking Facebook status, or chatting on their cell phones while they were driving.

According to Canalys research group (as reported by eWeek.com), in Q4 last year, the Android OS became the world’s leading smartphone platform, giving it 32.9% of the total mobile market share. Other numbers include Nokia at 30.6% and Apple at 16%.

I found an interesting article in the Hindustan Times. Of course, the same article also appeared in a few other places, like pakpassion.net, which is a New Zealand, Pakistan site where members share and discuss information. Anyway, while I could pontificate on the over-sharing of some news on the internet, this isn’t about that. This is about your mobile and what it says about you.

No, Apple isn’t introducing a little plastic credit card, but what they may be doing is introducing a service that will allow you to use your iPhone or iPad to make a purchase. This is according to a recent Bloomberg Report. I read about it on ABC News. But it is all still speculation at this point.

According to an article on The Next Web, popular Black Eyed Peas rapper and producer Will.I.Am has been hired on at Intel as Director of Creative Innovation. His responsibilities will include collaborating with the manufacturing company on “many creative and technology endeavours across the ‘computer continuum’”. What does that mean? Apparently, he’s going be helping Intel design their gadgets – laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

The E-Cycle law, introduced in Wisconsin on the first of September last year, appears to be paying off. The law banned the dumping of clapped out electronic devices such as old televisions, computers, stereos and old cell phones, in landfills, and trash collectors ceased to pick up such items left out by citizens.

Why not start the year off right by selling off the old cell phone and putting a little bit of extra cash in your pocket?

You must not underestimate the true worth of your Cell phone, as you never know how important it could be for our planet.

Now that 2011 has arrived, we must work out some new strategies to put money in our pouch all through the coming year. We suggest you trade in your old cell phone. If you do that, you won’t be the only person to be benefitted but many others will be benefitted also.
