Cell Phone Reveals True Identity of Suspect

A man who was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from a Kmart store in Asheville in North Carolina in the United States and who gave a false name to police officers had his true identity revealed by his old cell phone and his Facebook page, exposing him as being wanted for attempted murder in another state, according to Asheville Police.

Car Thief Nabbed Via Cell Phone

A stolen car, from Chesterfield Township in Detroit in the United States, was located and the thief arrested because an old cell phone belonging to the female owner of the vehicle was left inside the car and police were able to track it by using its GPS coordinates.
