For many shoppers and stores alike, Black Friday was a busy time of the year as always, and 2012 was no different as shoppers waited outside stores eagerly awaiting like Zombies for the store to open. It was almost like a scene out of Dawn of The Dead.
During the analysis of Black Friday sales, IBM published a report which showed that social media, in particular Twitter, sent through pretty much no referral traffic that turned into sales. Of course there were a number of retailers that disagreed with these stats, but our own stats at SellCell.com seemed to back up IMB’s claims.
