Many app designers and developers are currently working hard to launch new versions of their popular apps, which will fit nicely into the new iPhone 5’s screen size. The new screen resolution and tallness of the iPhone 5 has caused a few headaches the past few weeks, some companies have gotten off lightly and only needed to make a few changes whilst others have had to pretty much start from the ground upwards.
For Facebook, they have gone all out in creating a new interface for the popular messenger service that is available on iPhone and iPod devices. If you are an iPad owner, then you will need to wait a little while longer until it’s available on your platform.
Good Points Include:
Better Favorites Integration
Better Performance
Better Interface
Bad Points Include:
Android are still one-step ahead as you can create texts and send them from the app
Android still have the better app where Facebook messenger is concerned with the ability to integrate with your contacts list. So the iOS version still has a long way to go, but nonetheless it’s getting there. Making the app more streamlined is unquestionably a plus so I would suggest going to iTunes and grabbing the update to test this new app version out for yourself.
