The girl, who was involved in a relationship with the 17 year old, \u201ccompletely blows Zimmerman\u2019s absurd self defense claim out of the water\u201d, attorney Benjamin Crump says.  The unidentified girl \u201cconnects the dots\u201d as to what really happened that day as she overheard it during a conversation with her boyfriend on her old cell phone.<\/p>\n

Martin was shot dead on the 26th<\/sup> of last month while walking to the home of his father\u2019s fianc\u00e9 in Sanford following a trip to a convenience store.  Martin was on the phone prior to being shot and told his girlfriend that he was trying to get away from someone who was following him, Crump has revealed.  The girl says that she overheard another man ask her boyfriend what he was doing and heard Martin ask why the person was following him.  There then followed what sounded like an altercation after which the phone was disconnected.<\/p>\n

Crump says that if the teenager had somehow been \u201cup to no good\u201d, he would hardly have been chatting on his cell phone with his girlfriend at the time and that suggestions that Martin was \u201chigh\u201d are a \u201cpreposterous\u201d lie so Zimmerman \u201ccan justify killing this kid in cold blood\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
