Forty-nine year old John Puncel of Sylmar, who is also a San Gabriel Valley Football Officials Association board member, is accused of not only taking \u201cup skirt\u201d of the woman, who was riding an escalator at the time of the incident, but also of possessing child pornography, assaulting a police officer and obstructing police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb10\">\n<\/p><p>Puncel was noticed by police holding a cell phone near the bottom of an escalator at the mall on 100 West Broadway.  \u201cWhen this woman got onto the escalator, they could see him sticking (the cell phone) under her skirt,\u201d says Glendale police sergeant Sgt Thomas Lorenz.  Upon approaching Puncel, the officers became involved in a scuffle with him.  \u201cHe tried to resist, push back from the officers,\u201d Lorenz notes.  \u201cHe didn\u2019t want the offices to get their hands on the phone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb10\">\n<\/p><p>The 49 year old woman \u201cwas totally unaware of what was going on\u201d, Lorenz says, and was \u201cshocked and outraged\u201d when shown the footage which had been taken by the suspect\u2019s camera, placing Puncel under private person\u2019s arrest herself.  \u201cShe wasn\u2019t going to tolerate it,\u201d the officer states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb10\">\n<\/p><p>Suspicious images of what appear to be nude minors were also later found on the cell phone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A former PCC
