\u201cMobile games are, along with social games, the hottest sector of the video game industry by far,\u201d claims the executive vice president of PopCap Games, Dennis Ryan, who also says that his company earns around a third of its income from games which can be played on cell phones such as \u201cBejeweled\u201d and \u201cPlants Vs Zombies\u201d.  \u201cAs more people purchase smart-phones and the entire process of finding, purchasing and playing mobile games become as simple as browsing the internet, the mobile games market is going to accelerate even more,\u201d Ryan insists.  Of gamers who play on smart-phones, ninety-two per cent of those surveyed say that they do so at least once a week, with forty -five percent admitting that they do so on a daily basis.  All cell phones gamers have confessed that the time they spend playing games on their cell phones has increased over the past year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
