{"id":3446,"date":"2011-02-21T11:57:44","date_gmt":"2011-02-21T11:57:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beta.sellcell.com\/blog\/?p=415"},"modified":"2019-04-12T11:09:00","modified_gmt":"2019-04-12T11:09:00","slug":"cell-phone-killers-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sellcell.com\/blog\/cell-phone-killers-arrested\/","title":{"rendered":"Cell Phone Killers Arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sellcell.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/policecar.gif\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-417\" title=\"policecar\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sellcell.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/policecar.gif\" alt width=\"120\" height=\"80\"><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-417 lazyload\" title=\"policecar\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%22%20viewBox%3D%220%200%20120%2080%22%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" alt width=\"120\" height=\"80\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.sellcell.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/policecar.gif\"><\/a>Two men have been arrested over the murder of nineteen year old Jonathan Clements, who advertised on craigslist wanting to buy an old cellular phone.&nbsp; Twenty three year old Alexander D Lyons was arrested and arraigned on Friday evening for the crime and was jailed without bond, only for a second man, nineteen year old Lamar DeAngelo Clemons, to be also be arrested and arraigned on Saturday morning, who was held in lieu of a two million bond.&nbsp; Police say that the murder was part of a planned robbery, with neither of having any intention of ever selling Clements a phone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s our belief (Lyons and Clemons) never intended on a transaction taking place and (were) doing a robbery,\u201d says David Naidermeier, the Police Chief of Hazel Park.&nbsp; \u201cThis was a senseless crime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clements was shot in front of his aunt\u2019s house on Tuesday, and then robbed of the ninety five dollars he had agreed to pay to buy an old cellular phone from the suspects, who had contacted him via his advert on craigslist.&nbsp; Lyons is accused of being the one who actually pulled the trigger, and then he and Clemons drove away leaving the nineteen year old bleeding in the snow.&nbsp; Clements later died at Royal Oak\u2019s William Beaumont Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m mad he gets to be alive and my nephew is dead,\u201d says Clements\u2019 aunt, Renee Bommarito.&nbsp; \u201cHe thought ninety five dollars was more important than a human life\u2026 he needs to lose what I lost, and that\u2019s a life.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two men have been arrested over the murder of nineteen year old Jonathan Clements, who advertised on craigslist wanting to buy an old cellular phone.
