the desire to stay connected to the people who are important to us 24 hours a day, seven days a week.&nbsp;&nbsp; When traveling on an airplane however, it can often be a source of great annoyance and frustration that making calls with your cell phone is not allowed but that may be about to change.<\/p>\n<p>Boeing has announced plans to upgrade its modern airplanes such as the likes of the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental and the Boeing 787 Dreamliners in order to allow passengers on those aircrafts to be able to use their cell phones to make calls, a goal that the company says it intends to reach by next year.<\/p>\n<p>Boeing has long been a leader in the aviation industry.&nbsp; The company is clearly intending to continue to be so, with plans also to equip their planes with a whole raft of other similar features including the ability to make internet and Wi-Fi access available during flights as well.<\/p>\n<p>Boeing is hoping that by the time 2014 rolls around, passengers on the planes mentioned above will be able to use wireless streaming media while in flight, although it is as yet unclear whether or not such a move will be supported by the
