With the recent announcement at the Mobile Word Congress (MWC) this year, of four new Nokia<\/a> phones we thought it would be good timing to bring you a quick video guide on how you can go about resetting your Nokia phone.<\/p>\n

The video shows us restoring a Nokia N8<\/a> Smartphone but you should be able to follow this for most types of Nokia handsets that are running on the old Symbian OS.<\/p>\n

Why Do I Need To Do This?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

By performing a data reset it helps give you that peace of mind when you come to sell your phone, that you have successfully wiped all information and left the phone in a “factory condition” to then sell on, or recycle here at SellCell.com<\/p>\n

This is one of the biggest problems in the industry to date, people generally delete a few things manually but forget to use the phone’s features to perform a hard reset. Therefore many phones still contain private and confidential data by the time it gets to the recyclers.<\/p>\n

All of our recyclers use systems to wipe this data, however if you sell the phone elsewhere then you could end up a victim of identity theft.<\/p>\n
