I think that it is only fair to say that since the iPhone 5 was launched back in September, that Apple have faced a few embarrassing issues, from the initial Wi-Fi problems, to the major coverage of Apple Maps<\/a>, and now a feature that stopped working on the day a commercial for it aired.<\/p>\n

The commercial itself isn’t so bad but doesn’t have that usual Apple goodness, I have watched the video prior to writing this and apart from featuring the two Williams sisters<\/strong> (Serena and Venus), it doesn\u2019t really seem all that engaging or witty like previous Apple adverts.<\/p>\n

It basically focuses on the Do Not Disturb (DND)<\/strong> feature of the iPhone 5. For those unaware of what the DND feature does, it simply lets you turn off all notification alerts<\/strong> during hours that you choose.<\/p>\n

The embarrassment is the fact that the Do Not Disturb feature failed<\/strong> across all iPhone 5 platforms on the day the commercial aired, oops! (due to the year incrementing to 2013).<\/p>\n

As far as I am aware they don’t think they can fix the problem either, which seems strange!<\/p>\n
