It will look at the number of subscribers each streaming service has and compare the figures between each one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-are-the-top-video-streaming-apps\">What Are the Top Video Streaming Apps?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For the purpose of this report, we will consider the top six services in terms of subscribers and TV viewing share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"table\">\n<tbody>\n<tr valign=\"top\">\n<td>Netflix<\/td>\n<td>Netflix is top of the list. It has the most subscribers of any streaming service, currently. It is the largest streaming service in the world and spends tens of billions of dollars on content each year. Netflix streams a huge number of original productions.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr valign=\"top\">\n<td>Amazon Prime Video<\/td>\n<td>Amazon Prime Video is one of the benefits that Amazon Prime members can enjoy, alongside speedy delivery and exclusive discounts. As a result, though, the number of active Prime Video users may be less than the number of Amazon Prime subscribers.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr valign=\"top\">\n<td>Disney+<\/td>\n<td>Disney+ is (obviously) Disney&#8217;s streaming service. Launched in 2019, it is rapidly growing to catch up with Netflix and Prime Video. Alongside Disney originals, subscribers can enjoy Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, Star Wars productions, and even the adults are taken care of with Star and National Geographic!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr valign=\"top\">\n<td>Apple TV+<\/td>\n<td>Apple TV+ is Apple&#8217;s attempt at taking on the streaming industry. It is less popular than other services (presumably as it is tied to owning an Apple device and the associated account), but it still has plenty of content (and Apple&#8217;s coffers) to support its foray into video streaming.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr valign=\"top\">\n<td>Hulu<\/td>\n<td>Hulu is actually owned by Walt Disney Corp and has a huge range of original content. It is currently only available in the US; if it was to expand to the same territories as the likes of Netflix and Prime Video, it would likely have a much larger share of the market.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr valign=\"top\">\n<td>HBO Max<\/td>\n<td>HBO Max is the home of original HBO content. Subscribers can stream HBO originals, and can also access content from Warner Media&#8217;s library.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr valign=\"top\">\n<td>Others<\/td>\n<td>There are plenty of other global streaming services, too, although none are as popular as the above six platforms.
