Note that Gemini was previously Google Bard, but on February 8th 2024, a Google Blog announcement stated that it was changing to Gemini 14<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Other AI Chatbots Are There?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are plenty of other AI chatbots you can access already, but the major contender is META, which owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. It is developing its own chatbot AI, dubbed Galactica. Note, though, that META removed Galactica from public use as quickly as it arrived, because it was delivering incorrect data in its answers to users 12<\/sup><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other notable competitors include Anthropic’s chatbot AI\u2014Claude\u2014<\/em>which Google invested in prior to the creation of its own Gemini. Deepmind has also developed a chatbot called Sparrow<\/em>, and Microsoft, despite investing in OpenAI, has its own large language model, Megatron 13<\/sup><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The future of chatbot AI as a disruptor looks very promising. As natural language processing technology continues to advance, chatbots are becoming more human-like and able to handle more complex tasks. With their ability to automate customer service, sales, and other business processes, chatbots have the significant potential to disrupt traditional ways of doing business, and completely reshape entire industries in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
