The battle for tablet dominance between giants such as Microsoft, Apple and Samsung has served to provide consumers with an ever-evolving host of smart devices to choose from. 2014 seems to be the year of the 8-inch tablet.
Apple products are famously expensive due to the fact that these computing devices are also seen as desirable fashion accessories. As a result, the fact that Android tablet brands are much more affordable makes it easy to simply assume that they are inferior.
Over the course of the past few months we have seen quite a few new phones hit the market. Aside from the major front-runners like Apple’s iPad and iPhone, and the Nexus range by Google, we wanted to highlight a few others that may have gone under the radar.
When Apple first unveiled their Apple iPad, it took me a little while to ‘get it’. This was a cool looking device no doubt, but ultimately it looked to me just like an overblown iPhone. What was the big excitement about having a laptop without the keyboard?
